Expanding My Equine Stock Library in Oregon

When I traveled to Oregon for the Weatherbeeta shoot, I knew I wanted to make the most of my time in such a stunning location. With the golden light of the western landscape and a group of gorgeous ranch horses at my disposal, I decided to stay a few extra days to create new images for my Equine Stock Library.

Capturing Horses at Liberty

Horses at liberty are always in high demand among brands and publishers looking for dynamic, natural imagery. There’s something timeless and powerful about watching horses move freely across an open field, their muscles rippling under the golden hues of the setting sun. I took advantage of this breathtaking backdrop to capture a series of images that highlight the beauty, energy, and grace of these incredible animals.

The Perfect Setting

The ranch near Crater Lake provided the ideal environment for this shoot. With its wide-open pastures, rolling hills, and warm evening light, it created the perfect stage for photographing horses in their most natural state. I focused on creating a mix of still portraits and action shots—some showcasing the quiet elegance of a horse standing alone in the landscape, others capturing the beautiful movement of a herd galloping together.

A Valuable Addition to My Stock Library

Adding these images to my Equine Stock Library ensures that equestrian brands, magazines, and creatives have access to high-quality, authentic western horse imagery. Whether they need a stunning hero image for an ad campaign or a compelling visual for an editorial piece, these new additions provide a versatile selection of professional-grade equine photography.

Looking Ahead

This trip was a perfect reminder of why I love what I do—combining my passion for horses, photography, and storytelling to create compelling visuals. If you’re looking for unique equine imagery to elevate your brand, be sure to check out my stock library or reach out to discuss custom projects!
