Featured on TPT’s Wild Muse Pilot Episode

A few weeks ago, I got an unexpected (and exciting!) message from my friend Kate Nelson. She let me know that someone from TPT – Twin Cities PBS would be reaching out to me. Curious, I said yes to the conversation, and I’m so glad I did.

TPT was in the process of creating a pilot episode for a new series called Wild Muse, which explores the role of horses in art. Thanks to Kate’s recommendation, they wanted to feature me and my work as an equine photographer.

Now, I’m usually much more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it. But watching the final cut of the episode made me smile, laugh, and even get a little goosebumps. It’s surreal, in the best way, to see your story told through someone else’s creative lens.

Please watch, comment, and share the video to help TPT turn Wild Muse into a full series. The concept is beautiful, and the world needs more thoughtful storytelling about the connection between horses and creativity.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this possible:

  • Kate Nelson, for nominating me for the project

  • Rachel Wolf of Windamawr Stables, LLC, for generously modeling

  • Kira Stetler, for being an incredible photo assistant

  • And TPT – Twin Cities PBS, for including me in such a meaningful way

Here are some stills I created during the shoot and a few behind-the-scenes photos…
