I try not to play favorites, but Saddlebreds are one of my favorite breeds to photograph. They are expressive, curious, and it’s VERY easy to get their ears up for photos! Kylie also made my job easy by being at ease with herself and her horses. What you don’t see in the photos I share is the amazing team of people who help make photoshoots like this happen. From my assistant to the trainer to the mom and the friend who came to help, it takes a village!

Kylie’s horses are very excitable show horses, so we opted to do the first part of the session with both horses in the doorway of the barn, so we could keep the horses safe and focused.
