Before I was a photographer, I was a web designer. One of my local clients was Debbie Treadwell of Macnamara Insurance. They specialize in equine-related insurance, so it was a good fit to do website work for her. 

Fast forward to this summer – her daughter is about to be a senior in high school and Debbie reached out to me about being her photographer, I was thrilled! 

Katie shows her horses at Arabian shows both locally and nationally. To show at that level requires a great deal of time and commitment. I find that people who show seriously like this have a special kind of relationship with their horses because of it. Katie is no different. She loves her horses and they respond beautifully to her.

We started the session with a quick family photo. I love how it turned out!
