I've had a number friends lose their horses to illness or old age, and have had the privilege of taking photos for them to remember their horses by. I feel so strongly in the importance of creating these types of photos for people that I've create a special "Remember Session" for owners of horses who are terminally ill or over the age of 20.

I recently did a session with Lennie and Go Cart, who had to be put down because of a neurological disorder. He was a stunning horse and it was very sad, but also very satisfying to do this session for Lennie. Here's what she had to say about the experience:
