This was one of my all time favorite sessions! Audrey and Delilah made me laugh and smile through the whole thing, and they made it possible for me to make some of my best senior/equine images to date!

I think a big part of that is the crazy love that Audrey has for her horse. When I asked her in the pre-session questionnaire to tell me a little about her relationship with her horse, she started with this quote: “She’s not just a horse. She’s my Therapist…Pride…Happiness…My best friend.” That completely sums up their relationship.

Delilah is the first Holsteiner breed horse I think I have ever photographed. They do eventing together and hopefully someday I will be able to see them fly over fences in person. 🙂

I just had to share this collage first, because it basically illustrates how these two are together. 🙂
