Otis is a retired AQHA show horse and Kate’s equine love. Kate was graduating college and wanted photos with her beloved horse before his health failed and she was off to life’s great adventures.

We had such a fun time doing this session. Her family’s farm was full of beautiful settings and perfectly soft, filtered sunlight.

Shortly after the session, Kate wend to south america to teach english classes. That’s where she was when she first saw the photos. This was her response…”I’m in an internet cafe, totally geeking our over these photos. They’re incredible!!! I had so much fun working with you (despite Otis being naughty). I am also really missing him, so it’s wonderful to see these beautiful images of us together.”

Remember the part in her comment where she called Otis naughty? Well, this photo proves it! He was about done with us at this point. 😉
